The bouquet is darkly spicy, with dried black cherry, dark chocolate, licorice, tobacco and cassis notes and flavors of dried fruit, fig, raisin, tart cherry and coffee carry through to a profoundly tannic finish that grips the palate and lasts long after every sip.

Robust enough for the richest dishes, this wine is brilliant with grilled porterhouse, osso buco or dry, sharp cheeses like Parmigiano Reggiano or Pecorino Romano.

The Rossa Ardente wine kit from Master Vintner is often compared to the infamous Amarone red wine of Italy, in large part due to the similar flavor and aroma profile.
