Wyeast 2278 Czech Pils is a classic pilsner strain, From the home of pilsners, brew with this strain for a dry, but malty finish. The perfect choice for pilsners and bock beers.

Sulfur produced during fermentation dissipates with conditioning. Apparent attenuation: 70-74%. Flocculation: medium–high. Optimum temp: 48°-58° F

NOTE: During summer months, we include complimentary ice packs will all liquid yeast orders. However, it is difficult to guarantee that the ice packs will stay frozen given transit times and particularly hot temperatures. For this reason, we recommend ordering dry yeast during summer months.
